Where we are and what’s next?

After six months of development and testing we’ve got iOS and Android apps available to download. We’ve also built a new presentation layout for the postcards. It detects the WishCard’s orientation and presents either horizontal or vertical view on load.

I’ve also thought it would be intuitive for mobile to present the WishCards in a carousel that would revolt on the page load indicating that the recipients can use their thumbs to scroll trough the image, the message & social sharing functionality.

So what’s next?

The next thing in the pipeline will be the implementation of currencies other than sterling [£].

Once this is done we are going to start bragging about the app in USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & the rest of the world.

We’re also planning to give the option of ordering the printed WishCards to those who received the free digital version.

The feature that will follow will indroduce a marketplace – it will be very exciting and there will be a separate post dedicated to it shortly.
